主讲人简介:
Dr.Charles S Wong 目前是加拿大温尼伯大学的副教授及Canada Research Chair in Environmental Toxicology,同时也是加拿大阿尔伯塔大学和曼尼托巴大学化学系的兼职副教授。Dr.Charles S Wong 在美国麻省理工学院获得环境工程专业学士级硕士学位,并于明尼苏达大学获得博士学位。他的博士后工作是在US EPA 和多伦多大学完成的。他也是2010年在广州举办的SETAC Asia/Pacific 会议的组织者之一,并在会议之后受邀去北京大学和浙江大学进行了学术交流。
我们研究组目前的研究方向主要包括:
(1) 手性持久性有机污染物(如手性多氯联苯)的环境化学及生物化学行为(The environmental fate and biological processes of chiral POPs)。
(2) 室内持久性有机污染物(如含氟有机化合物:全氟辛烷磺酸盐 PFOS 等)的赋存,分布及其毒理学特征(Indoor exposure to POPs (perfluoro- and others) and linkages to human health)。
(3) 药物及个人护理产品在环境中的污染特征(Pharmaceuticals and personal care products as environmental contaminants)。
(4) 纳米材料的水环境化学行为(Aquatic fate of engineered nanomaterials)。
